frats and sororitys

I'm curious I've noticed a lot of houses only go to certain houses/ don't go to some houses at all. Why is that? I.E. from what I can gather on this site "top house" sororities only party with top house fraternities. Why doesn't this ever change? Like will a top house freshman girl ever go to not a top house to try it out? Or does she just assume they aren't worth her time?

Nobody really cares about ranking but on this site coming from a "middle tier" house the girls at my house definitely still go out to "top frats" but some girls go to houses considered "lower tier" it all just depends on who you mesh with and nothing is just set in stone. There's a variety within the Greek system

It's all about who gets along together, some sororities that are considered too tier won't have out with fraternities that are considered too teir cause they don't get along
