how to rush & join!

by:

If you’re a guy, you can go on the UW IFC website and sign up for “Chapter Builder” so Fraternities can contact you for a House Tour. You can also find the Recruitment Chair’s Phone # on the website and you can reach out to them directly. There is also the ability to go through “Formal Rush” during summer where you get to stay at the dorms for a week and spend the whole time seeing houses. This is especially helpful for those seeking to Go Greek who live out of state.

If you’re a girl, the only way you can join is to go through Formal Recruitment during the end of summer, where you’ll get a Bid by the end of the week. A quick and easy experience that places you in the house that is best fitted for you! You can also COB (Continuous Open Bidding) some Sororities during the school year if you didn’t like your Formal Recruitment experience.
