going through recruitment twice?

by:

Does it look bad to sororities (especially top sororities) if you go through recruitment, drop out of a house before initiation, then go through recruitment again? Honest and helpful answers only please!

The good houses will care and will likely drop you
The lower houses are desperate for warm bodies so they won’t care

It is definitely a little sus. I remember there was a girl who rushed or COB'd a house last year, but dropped before initiation. However, before rush this year when we previewed all the PNMS, we saw her on the list and someone who knew her mentioned that she dropped last year. Thus, we were all aware and a bit wary. It really depends on the reason you dropped - was it because you wanted to be in a "better" house? This can be easily sensed.

Okay, thanks for your answer! If I did go through recruitment again, should I mention my situation or not? And what should I say?

It honestly depends on why you decided to drop. People can see right through you if you dropped because you "didn't feel like you fit in" (aka you thought you were too good for them)
