questions about uw greek life
by: UWBoundI'm a senior in High school and have recently begun looking at the pros and cons of joining a fraternity in college. I'd like to be as involved as possible during my college years so I feel as though this would be a good match for me. I was a bit confused on the whole "rushing" process at UW, some clarification would be greatly appreciated. I heard the process of rushing happens as early as April before the fall quarter starts, can anyone confirm that? Also if you were involved in the Greek system how did you like it?

GS is dope, a lot of great houses to choose from. Yeah guy Rush is informal so anytime between when acceptance letters come out to the start of school really, but if you're local especially do it in spring or summer (preferably June/July) so PC's don't fill up. Although PCs only really fill up in the "top" houses like beta alpha delt sigma chi etc but I wouldn't worry about "top" houses when rushing

just because this guy "wouldn't worry about "top" houses when rushing", doesn't mean that you should rule them out, or any house based off a stranger on the internet!!!! look at as many houses as you can so you can get an idea of what you like, then can make a decision based off of what bids you get
