spring recruitment

Hi, I'm a sophomore and I was wondering how spring recruitment is like for sororities. Do all the sororities host spring recruitment, is it informal or formal, and how many girls do they usually take?

spring recruitment is a relaxed version of formal. you find the events on your own and go to whichever sororities you want. then they host invite only events and extend bids after that. usual class can be anywhere from 5-20, depending on how many they need.

Sororities will only host an informal recruitment if they need more people to reach campus quota! So the chapters who maybe didn't get a lot of people in the fall, or had a lot of people graduate in december will be the ones doing informal. If a chapter has enough members, they are not even allowed to do spring.
