This place is amazing. As someone who has experienced all of the sororities on campus, Kappa is easily the least toxic, least dramatic, and least snobby of them all. There are a few problems, but that’s in every house! There are no sneaky girls who go out of their way to alienate or tattle on their sisters. People that call them “party animals” only know that by 15-year-old stereotype. The whole campus parties about the same amount. These girls are not an anomaly.

I do not know much about Kappa except that they play into the negative stereotypes of sorority women. I could be wrong, but I hear that their academics are not strong, that their leadership is lacking, and that there is a lot of drama within the chapter.

I wouldn’t rush this chapter if I went here. They are making national news for their transphobic members. If you are a part of the LGBTQ community or are a supporter, Kappa Kappa Gamma is not safe and supportive space for you. I would not want to associate with these women, if they seem to not be able to coexist with people that are different than them. I imagine they are also not accepting of other religions considering their Christian faith is a basis of the reason they feel uncomfortable with welcoming a trans woman into their home. Sincerely, a straight cis woman who is also in Greek life that thinks these girls are being bullies.
