cheer-rush?

Hi - I was wondering if they allow members of the cheer/dance teams to also be a part of Greek Life. I know at some schools they allow it, others they don't. TIA.

Yes they are able, but I think they can’t rush freshman year if on cheer/dance team - someone correct me if I’m wrong.

Some cheerleaders do join Greek life but the coaches don't exactly love it. Most schools don't allow any athletes in Greek and usf will probably not allow it eventually.

I know we definitely have athletes, cheerleaders, and girls on flag in the sororities. Definitely look into what the first commenter said though about freshmen rushing. Regardless, you'll be allowed to rush as a sophomore.

Coaches dislike it. If you’re all gIrl or coed and hope to compete and travel you most likely won’t want to rush. Plus it’s very very time consuming with practices games and appearances/community events
