Lack a real connection with it's members. Disrespect toward sorority girls, not a good fraternity.

They had a good recruitment with a huge pledge class. Off-campus house and a crazy bunch of guys makes them the next SAE when it comes to partying. A couple of my friends who are girls don't like going there because it gets a little too crazy.

Kappa Sigma is a great fraternity, but like every other fraternity here at USF they have their problems. -You guys have great themed parties but they are too far and few between. -Some of your brothers (mainly older) get a little too rowdy at parties. For the most part, you all have a good time but there is always some older brother who upsets a girl by being rude or frightens a girl acting a little too wild. All in all, you are good looking, fun, and too cool for for your house.

Party animals but don't care about school. Two of them are in my class and haven't learned a thing in 4 weeks. While they copy off of me, they brag about getting wasted this weekend. Piece of s h i t.

these guys are very diverse and may not be super school focused but they are the best company a fraternity can offer. i have known them and other houses for the past 3 years and i always have a better time and more comfortable with this group of men than anywhere else in greek. Also you dont have to be on campus to be top tier, just saying.

One of our pledges is a Chubbies Ambassador which means free pants! Best parties, off-campus house and largest pledge class. If you haven't noticed, this is the top choice of IFC.

Potential means that they could become more popular by getting a house on campus. The truth is people who join this frat are just looking to party and nothing more. A conservative diverse mix of men who won't accomplish as much compared to the typical Greek. Despite being one of the oldest usf chapters, they have a questionable alumni network. Instead if getting alumni support, a Kappa Sigma went on greekchat.com for donations to a new house.

In defense of Kappa Sigma academics, they have one of the highest new member GPAs and the chapter GPA is a 2.96. Put that into perspective and there up to par with the majority of the chapters. 4 chapters have a higher GPA by .02 or .03. Not a lot.

Kappa Sigma has a lot of potential. They are athletic, they organize good philanthropies, and they have some social preference. What's holding them back is the rampant use of pot and the excessive drinking that takes place at their off campus house. Unfortunately, people who join Kappa Sigma at USF tend to be sucked into the negatives of their chapter, and this equates to their academic problems & lack of involvement. Most kids who join end up ruining their GPA and drinking way too much.
