Aphi rush exposed
by: RushAphis own members complain about rush. They prepare for it a year ahead and not only rush for looks but some of their members are not considered cool enough to be allowed to talk during rush.

imagine accepting a bid at a place because they are perceived as “top” and you are flattered you were considered attractive enough… only to have to pay like 2,000 a semester to feel
a) judged and left out because of cliques you can’t participate in
b) have intense pressure for an eating disorder
c) feel like your entire self worth is tied to what you look like everyday
d) to be judged be the whole
Campus on what kind of person you are when you say “aphi”
this comes from old roommates who were in it and it was rough to watch.

I've met aphi girls out and some of them have said how much they hate half their sisters because of this and that they'd much rather do their own thing

This is true. The Aphi girls are required to look through the upcoming UVA 2027 (or whatever year) insta pages and find girls they think would fit their vibe simply based on looks and nothing else. it’s honestly so embarrassing for them 💀💀💀💀
