do sororities here let u join as a transfer?

looking to transfer as a second yr to uva and am already in a sorority at my school– would I be able to just join the one I was already in or would I have to disaffiliate and re-rush?

If you were actually in an NPC sorority you would know the answer to this. There is no disaffiliation/re-rush process whatsoever, and your national sorority has a transfer policy that you could easily find.

sorry i know its different at different schools, at my school people can't do that so i was checking damn so aggressive for what

It’s going to depend on your nationals but you can’t disaffiliate and re rush. I believe, but may be wrong, that the UVA chapter would have to vote to accept you.

I know that some sororities here have rejected a member that transferred in and those girls became alums of their initiated chapter
