PNMs Srat Rush advice

Just wanted to give pnms my opinion.
I rushed first year and got a bid at Zeta. All my friends joined Kappa and Theta. I dropped Zeta within 2 weeks.
I joined Kappa the next year and I am so glad I did.
The experience in upper tier srats is much better and way better parties and hotter guys.
Ladies if you do not like what you have just rush again 2nd year especially if your friends are in top tier

This is so off base. Your experience was only better at kappa because your friends were already there. You should join the sorority where you think you’ll be the best fit. There are hot guys in all frats and lots of hot guys that aren’t in Greek life

I thought Kappa had a "once cut/always cut" policy. If this individue ended up at Zeta, it meant she got cut at Kappa.

BTW: If this is true, I say "Good for Zeta!"

don’t spread bs about how the “top tiers” are the only way to go. you can find equally fun parties and hot guys at lower tiers, it’s just important to go where you feel comfortable

This is terrible advice. If you already have a solid group of friends and are in clubs at UVA you didn’t even need to rush. Echoing that you liked kappa because your existing friends were already there. 2 weeks is also not enough time to tell if you liked any srat. The first few weeks are all new member stuff anyway. Your enjoyment of a sorority is NOT tied to a ranking. The rush process works because it places you into the house with the girls most like you. It’s sad you are too closed minded to have given Zeta a try.
