Start of 2022 sorority rankings

Tier 1
KAT/DDD/KKG: order here doesn’t matter. Never changes. Historically, DDD was below the other two but that has changed.

Tier 2
PBP/AP/DG: has changed more than tier 1 but this is the solid group. On frat lists for phi psi zete and ksig but also chi phi and fiji like the 3 tier. People try to argue this tier but they post because they want their srat to be higher with it. Its simple really. These srats aren’t meant to be worlds apart from others but are boosted due to frat relations and being more desirable to pnms during rush

Tier 3
DZ/AXO/ZTA: people argue here too. Let it be said that dz is the top of tier 3 and that is not going to change. If they do well enough during rush and make upper party lists they may bump up to tier 2. This is the chill place to be in sorority life

Tier 4
SK/ADP/KD: sk is chill and not sratty. Adp is traditional srat with strong sisterhood. KD is more of an academic sorority

Tier 5
SSS/GPB

There is a difference between tier 1 and 2 but there are similarities too. I think the main difference is the connections needed to get into tier 1, but that’s not an absolute must, either. Similarities are they overlap in friend groups in many cases, and in the frats they hang out with.

I agree. It’s definitely a solid top three but an argument for there also being some sort of big six could be made too, but it wouldn’t override the top 3. Lots of pnms want either tier 1 or 2

those schools also have a WAY bigger greek population. 50% of PNMs drop out of rush here, in large part because they only want top 3 or bust

Don’t know why we keep putting SSS and Gamma Phi Beta together. SSS is way ahead of GPB even if they do not compete with the mid and upper tiers.

Would honestly bump up SSS to the next tier. GBP is the new SDT, and SSS does not deserve that. I know girls picking SSS over KD

Correct and yet SSS is newer than GPB but people don’t give them a chance. If people want to grow Greek life they need to help bring up bottom tiers too
