Rushing as a third year
by: TransferConsidering schools and I’d be a third year transfer and I want to rush a sorority. Do the ones here take third years? It’s really important to me so I want to be as sure as possible

You 100% should take the opportunity to rush as a transfer. It's a great way to meet people and get involved quickly on grounds. In the fall rush is informal so not all sororities will participate but I still think it is worth it to at least try and see if you can find the best fit for you. One of the girls that is about to be my roommate was in the same boat as you. She was a 3rd year transfer and she rushed in the spring and joined a chapter and she couldn't be happier with her decision so I think you definitely should try.
