sorority and instagram

I asked this in another thread, but really want to know… for a new first year, class of 2023, how important is good social media to getting a top tier sorority bid? Also would it be good to start following the instagram of some current sisters?

I would just use the uva(insert sorority) name to check out their instagrams to see if there are any mutual friends/connections that follow the Instagram. Most sisters follow it so it could be a good networking tool. Also less weird to follow someone you already kinda know than a whole sorority page/random sisters.
