They are of no benefit to our campus community. Most of their members have no intentions of getting involved on campus besides staying in their rathole of a house. I suggest anyone who is looking for a "quality" experience or brotherhood you should stay as far away from these guys.

I don't know much about the internal aspects of Alpha Chi but I do know that the girls in it seem SO much happier with their choice of joining a sorority than in any other sorority on campus.

I've known Kappas that after their 1st year in HATE it. There's a lot of things wrong with Kappa. They might be the "pretty" "smart" sorority with the best house, but those titles only seems to last for so long. A lot of their members have complained to me personally saying that there is ZERO sisterhood. Just notice how once they all graduate, a very small percentage of them stay friends. Kappa is all an image, they brand themselves well but ultimately it's a disaster on the inside.

The comment below states that sigs are: "Definitely a standard for frats on campus". This is probably a reason why you should stay away from Sigma Chi, a fraternity who calls themselves a "frat" at UNM is an absolute joke. With those high dues you charge your frat members you should fix up your good location of a house because frankly it is an eyesore to our entire campus.
