what are the sororities really like?

I am transferring to UNR for the Spring 2015 semester, and I want to join a sorority. I am still debating whether or not I want to participate in informal recruitment or wait until fall to go through formal. If I decide to do informal, I will not have had enough time to really see the sororities around campus, in which case I am curious...
1) Who participates in the most events around campus?
2) Who does the most philanthropy work?
3) Who parties the most?
4) Who has the strongest sisterhood?

they are honestly all really good. I would join in Spring and be happy wherever you get a bid. You can't go wrong.
