by: cait.What is sorority recruitment like at UM? And what advice can you give a girl who is shy going through recruitment? I don't have any friends or family who are sorority members so I'm kind of lost and a bit nervous about sorority recruitment/: please help!

If you sign up for formal recruitment your gamma chis will tell you what to expect. I'd suggest going to some of the summer events to get to know of you of the different houses early. It really does help you in the long run. And if you don't think formal recruitment is for you, some of the sororities recruit in the spring.
