What's Hot - University of Memphis - UM

They were non-exsistant last year, I never saw any pi phi's. Didn't really have a presents at other greeks philanthropy events…other than the haunted house. They are probably a solid middle tier now at memphis. And the only thing that I have ever heard about pi phi is that they really had a clique problem.

I know in the past that this chapter was struggling at the university of memphis, but I know the past couple of years they have really turned it around! They won 1st place in homecoming and even got an award for most improved chapter. So clearly they aren't a bottom tier chapter anymore. From what I have heard they are one of the better chapters at memphis. And if they get one more great pledge class they will be the the top sorority at Memphis for sure! -Love, Ole Miss

I don't understand why people give Phi Mu such a hard time. They had several more girls involved with Frosh Camp, orientation guides and Up Till Dawn than in years past so saying they are going downhill is very inaccurate. Their sisterhood also seems to be genuine so I'd reconsider all these negative comments because Phi Mu is on the rise.

It hurts me to see all these horrible comments about phi mu. I've never met a phi mu that I didn't like. sure I like some more than others, but they all seem to be genuine girls. they're more involved on campus than people are giving them credit for. a lot of them have become my good friends this summer from frosh camp or orientation leaders. don't be so quick to judge them because of their looks or anything else. get to know them and you'll think differently.

I feel bad for the freshman girls that will go phi mu this year. freshman go through recruitment thinking that phi mu is the popular good sorority and they don't realize until they go through that phi mus are uninvolved and have an extremely poor reputation among campus and peers. they are headed downhill so fast. the phi mu letters carry such a negative connotation

They have a had some MAJOR issues in the past, but I think they about have all of the girls that was brining the chapter down out now. If they can get a good pledge class in there they could start rebuilding their reputation. Going through recruitment as a PNM I can honestly say that was the most uncomfortable experience of my life. If the work on recruitment and take it seriously and show there true colors they will do much better! Yes they are kinda weird and no that is not a bad thing!
