Quota during Formal Recruitment in 2017 (which was 15 new members) decreased by 25% versus Formal Recruitment in 2016 (which was 20 new members). The addition of Tri Delta during the 2016-17 school term has sufficiently decreased current chapter total number, and no other NPC colony group is necessary at this time.

So, OP, you are an AXO with the strong desire to have your Delta Theta chapter return. Did your NPC group make a presentation during our previous expansions (2011 and 2015)? If so, they might have actually been chosen as part of a colony 'stack' meaning they will be definitely coming in the future.
In my experience AXO tends to be very hush-hush about where it is presenting and where they have been chosen to colonize, especially if the colony is the second or third group in a 'stack' with 3-6 years to go before beginning. Sometimes a sorority colony will have to be delayed or de-listed if a campus culture changes before the chosen group can colonize.

You're both right - they were in trouble for having that party but getting caught hazing the pledges was the final straw. The party came first, hazing second.
They also recently got suspended from Lehigh and also Penn State for hazing, so they aren't having a great year.
