I rushed my freshman year but ended up dropping...huuge mistake not being in a sorority at boulder.

Anyways, I'm going to be a sophmore and am going to rush in the fall. Is is harder for sophmores to get bids from houses like Chi O, DG, Pi Phi, Aphi and Kappa? Also how much do those houses care about GPA?

Dg and kappa are your best bet, they are the least competitive of the 5 houses you mentioned below during rush

Alpha phi, chi o and pi phi rushed 1-3 the last two years and are very competitive.

DG has the highest gpa on campus so they drop anyone with below about a 3.5 the first day. also a lot of the "top" houses will not bid anyone who isnt a freshman. so give other houses a chance and i'm sure you will find the right house that wants you as much as you want them! good luck!

Honest answer: If you got dropped last year by houses, they will DEFINITELY drop you again if you are a sophomore and have a GPA that low. It is more competitive for upperclassmen than for incoming freshmen.

Whoever down there said that DG and Kappa are easiest if you've been dropped, good luck. DG drops the most girls the first day due to GPA and Kappa also drops many girls. APhi keeps the most because lets be honest their chapter needs some major work.And Chi O seems to not have a steady standard of who they like.
