Top: Pi Phi is the best house at CU but these are the ones everyone wants:
- Pi phi: The best of the best, wealthy, beautiful, fun girls. Sisterhood is good, they care about each other and having fun together. Many like to party and they are loved by the frats. Their house is huge and beautiful but is far from campus.
- A Phi: Hot party girls (the own it) that care more about partying, boys and social media than they do about school and friendships. The most social house, frats love them, but not a great sisterhood because they are very cliquey. Their house is very pretty with the ‘moat’ and a solid location.
- DG: Smart and cute girls, more of the girl next door type of the top their houses. They have a decent sisterhood, could be better but they at least respect each other and other houses and get along. Their house is very old and small but its cute and in a top location.
Mid: Similar and all respected, there isn’t any order to them(listed alphabetical) and their members they could fit into any of the houses, their PC’s sway the personality of house more than the top:
- AXO: The fastest rising house at CU, have benefitted from the increase in PNMs. A good mix between cute girls and hot girls but a little all over the place still. Their sisterhood is really good, they focus on school, care about their philanthropy and improving as a chapter. Their house is the most plain outside but the interior is nice and a top location. They cross rush mostly with Chi O and Theta.
- Chi O: Cool unique girls that are a little more diverse and ‘natural’ than the top houses. More school focused and slightly less social than the top tiers but still fun and party. They were a higher tier house in the past decade but haven’t kept up their status. Their house is beautiful and in one of the best locations. They will get the leftover girls from DG and cross rush with the other mid tiers.
- Kappa: Very social house, obsessed with their image as individuals and as a house, social climbers. Some smart and a very small few hanging on to their “southern” image but most of them focus on boys and partying, their sisterhood is not good because of this. Their house is huge and amazingly beautiful but it causes their dues to be insane. They get girls that didn’t make APhi and then recruit a more social focused girl compared to the other 3 mid tiers.
- Theta: Very pretty, smart, outdoorsy, funny and chill girls, not exactly the sorority girl type but they are very cool and love to have fun, be social and care about their philanthropy. They have a strong sisterhood too. Their house is pretty but in a bad location. They mostly cross rush with Chi O and AXO.
Bottom: These houses are a bit more all over the place and not picky in the girls they recruit. The have individual aspects that are great but not the whole package:
- GPhi: Strong sisterhood and focus on school. Not the most social and not heavily focused on their philanthropy or being active in greek life. More ‘typical’ sorority girls in their looks but not as outgoing. Their physical house is just average overall. They get the leftovers from the mid tier houses.

what op said for theta and pi phi is basically the same as what most other posts on here say but the desc for axo is awfully glazy and disagrees w most posts on here. "mix of hot girls and cute girls", "sisterhood is really good", "fastest rising house". like....

i have seen most post about axo say that. most people say pi phi don't have a good sisterhood and they don't like each other. most people say theta isn't that good of a sorority with weird girls. it could honestly have been written by any of these three sororities.

Theta isn’t the kind of house to write all of this as a subtle way of boosting their house. Pi phi always recruits #1 anyways so they don’t need to waste their time on something like this. Axo has been being slandered on this page lately so this is an obvious attempt to combat those claims.
Pnms - do not focus on lists like this. They are all biased. You will get an idea of what the chapters are like when you meet them and that’s what’s important.

i don't get why it matters who wrote it. this post is accurate and respectful. i have seen and know of multiple self ranking posts by most sororities, not just axo. all these ranking are really not that deep

eh idk. op said that the girls in axo are a little all over the place and that their house is plain. meanwhile op called thetas very pretty, smart, outdoorsy, funny and chill girls that are very cool and love to have fun, be social and care about their philanthropy and have a good sisterhood. i think the theta post is the glaziest.

Let me start by saying that I know a lot of axo girls. Whether you love them or hate them, I think everyone would agree they have been on the rise. This doesn’t mean that they are a top house, it just means that they have been consistently on the rise and that their pc’s are getting better every year. Everyone at cu knows this so i’m not sure why anyone would try to debate it. I think this is also why they get a ton of hate on here.

does anyone have actual stats on retention? just wondering if this is another instance of one house trying to put another house down???

Look at a house’s grad pictures on insta and you can see how many seniors they had. Also, look at their cob/spring pc size. Both of these are good indicators of whether or not a house has decent retention.

you do realize there are plenty of people who graduate early or chose not to be in the photo. also many sororities have girls drop their senior year. seniors in every sorority aren't that involved and it is better financially for some people to drop.

just because they don't have a good retention rate doesn't mean they have a bad sisterhood it just means that upperclassman don't want to pay to be in a sorority when they already have plenty of friends and don't really go to events

Sisterhood and retention are separate things. I know girls that are in houses and spend zero time with any of the girls in their own house, but hang with girls in other houses. The next time they hang with their own sisters will probably be to take grad pics.
On the flip side, I know girls that dropped due to work, school, internships, finances etc. but only hang out with girls from the house they dropped. One thing doesn’t always relate to the other.

you can’t really look at cob because literally almost every house extends spring bids, some just do so more quitely and only extend a couple of bids while some other houses will extend a lot more bids and actually have a bid day.

don't understand why people are till feeling the need to talk bad about other sororities on the replies of this post. social media and posts on here are not an accurate representation of sororities. the best way to get accurate information is to talk to people especially members of the sorority.

gphi is in between the mid tier and bottom tier. there is definitely a gap between gphi and the other mid tiers. no as low a tri delt but still
