are recruiters actually watching my registration vid?
by: elhow much does this actually matter to most houses? i’m still planning on taking it seriously, but will girls from all nine houses actually look at every girls vid?

My rush video was awful and when I say awful I stuttered and was maybe a little bit awkward but even after the video I still received a full schedule on the first day of rush. The video is a VERY small part of it but still make sure it’s the best it can be, girls in houses can tell if you put effort into the video!

Yes, your videos will be watched by actives in the sorority. In my house each active is assigned a certain number of videos to watch and then we score you based on your video. All the videos are watched multiple times by different girls and the scores are averaged. So definitely put in some effort.

I would not say the video is a “very small part” of the process. The video is basically the first “party” except it’s not live or in person. I’m sure each sorority handles it a little differently, but in most houses they break up the actives into groups to watch a certain number of videos and score them just like they would if it were an actual party. So the video replaces the first party and most definitely is part of a pnms overall score for datebook 1 along with grades, activities, etc
