I know this might not be a popular opinion but I would say that chi o is the top of the mids, not bottom of the tops if that makes sense? I just feel that there is a gap between dg and chi o. Chi o seems to have fallen off in recent years and a lot of the top frats will only mix with pi phi, a phi, and dg. Don’t get me wrong, chi o is still a great house with strong grades, good sisterhood etc. but I just don’t think they are a “top” house at CU anymore. Open to opinions on this.

Either way chi o is number 4. The question is whether or not number 4 is a top house or a middle house.

People love to say that APhi and Pi Phi don’t have super strong sisterhoods, but Id argue that their sisterhoods are gonna be tight. Think about it: these girls know they're lucky to even get in, 'cause, everyone wants to join. So they'll probably work harder at being good sisters. That's why I bet all the competitive (top5) sororities have good sisterhoods. Now obviously you are going to have girls that don’t feel as connected to their sisters, but that is going to be in every sorority where there’s over 400 women. And the people that take the time to find Greek rank and post are usually upset about something and they are the vocal minority. And until somebody gets on here and says ‘ i’m in XYZ sorority and we don’t have a good sisterhood because of ABC’ then it’s all just people on the outside looking in and talking bs.

One of the problems with the Top 2 (pi phi and a phi) is that they recruit based mostly on looks. They care about whether or not frat boys think they are hot. The result is you have a bunch of really pretty girls that may not have a lot in common. Some party girls, some really smart girls, some religious girls, some athletic/outdoorsy girls etc. Also, there are rules when you are in a sorority and fines when you don’t play by the rules. A lot of influencer types don’t want to play by these rules and/or have their social media monitored. This is why I think retention is tough in some houses.

the way they recruit and treat girls based on looks and not on character keeps aphi from ever having a good sisterhood. having superiority complexes based on being in a top house isn’t a good enough factor in common to ensure that the girls care about each other.
