TOP: PI PHI X APHI
Pi phi: gorg house but bad location and super far from everything. Recruit typical sorority girl and helpful to have a connection to get into the house. Social with frats and have cute events. The girls are pretty and this house has the rep of many of them having a lot of money. Lots of California girls. Their philo is cute with the sweetest events but they aren’t as involved with it as other houses.
Aphi: pretty house in a better location than pi phis. Recruits a lot based on looks and insta followers so their sisterhood is kinda lacking. Retention has never been amazing. Lots of cute events and they have the cutest merch imo. In my opinion they party the hardest after kappa. They give off the more mean girl vibe but I’ve also met some super sweet aphis. They have been trending down but keep their status because frats like them and will continue to like them.
UPPER MID: DG first then CHI O
Dg: cute cottage core house in a good location. Super cute philanthropy that they seem to be pretty involved in and they have the cutest events. A bit less social than aphi and piphi but frats still like them. Girls here either love to party or will only step foot in a frat once a semester. Have a higher gpa requirement than others. Take a chill pretty girl with some odd ones mixed in. They seem to have one of the larger populations of Christian girls but that could be wrong just something I’ve noticed.
Chi o: personally not the biggest fan of their house but it definitely has the best location. Similar to dg in the social scene. Pretty high gpa requirement and recruits kinda more of a granola girl type. They seem to have a fairly strong sisterhood but I’ve also heard complaints from pc 24.
MID : KAPPA X THETA X AXO
Kappa: mostly known for partying kappa is like the house you go to if you prefer pi phi or aphi and don’t get it. cross rush with the mid houses but they have a mix of super quirky weird girls or super hot mean girls I feel like there’s no in between. They aren’t super involved with their philos and a lot of girls are just there to party. but frats like them and they know how to have a good time. Their house is in an ok location.
Theta: House is super cute but it’s the only that’s not technically on the hill. Wouldn’t say it’s a bad location just not as central. Solid sisterhood and pretty involved with their philo. High gpa requirement. Have some quirky weird girls and some that are similar to chi o/dg vibe. Not very social with frats.
AXO: Also not super social with frats but could see that changing. Their house is probably the least pretty out of all of them but is in an amazing location right next to dg. some of the girls are a little strange. They get a lot of aphi/kappa rejects and have girls that are that same vibe. Not great retention and if you aren’t in the main friend group being here isn’t amazing.
LOWER MID: (not by much tho) GPHI
Gphi: Honestly thought this was a top house when I was rushing. It’s always been ranked lower but girls have been loving Gphi. Their house has a cute lil courtyard and their merch is cute too. All the Gphi girls I have met love it. Don’t hear anything bad about gphi they just aren’t really social at all with frats. Some of the sweetest girls on campus.
