what kind of girl does dg or theta take?

Two very different houses imo. Dg is top tier and mixes with top frats. Pretty girls that are chill and get good grades. House is in a great location on the hill near other srats and frats. Cross rushes with other top tier houses. I’ve heard complaints about their exec but tbh almost every house complains about their exec so idk

Theta also has a nice house but it’s far away from everyone else. They also get good grades but are known to be socially awkward. I found them really hard to talk to during rush. The good news is that the house is very diverse and LGBTQ friendly if that is what you are looking for. They have their own events but don’t get invited to a ton of things by frats. They used to be stronger a few years ago but they have extended bids to a lot of really weird girls for last fall rush and this spring rush. Both g phi and theta had large spring pc’s and full on spring bid days which is a sign that they might be struggling with retention.

Best thing to do is check out both houses so you can form your own opinions

I was a rho gam and I never had a pnm rank dg over theta but I think theta could be a great choice if you get dropped from other houses. Theta may not be totally relevant but they are unproblematic.

I have friends in both dg and theta and they are very very similar (my friends who are in each, idk how similar the actual houses are). I do think some thetas are socially awkward and they have more weirdos than dg but that’s not a fair generalization given that dg also has their fair share of those types as well, just less of them. I’d say the houses are similar in that they both recruit more down to earth girls imo and there’s definitely a lot of similarities between the not weird thetas and not weird dgs. They also seem to be the two most involved chapters with their philanthropy’s and both have high grade requirements.

In one and have a ton of friends in the other. I find girls in both to be so hilarious and authentic. These are really realistic houses to keep on your radar as long as you have a good high school gpa.
