gap year/ transfer student for sorority rush

is it harder for gap year or transfers to get a top tier house? currently debating on taking a gap semester or attending umiami and transferring to boulder.

Not at all. I know transfers who got into top houses and I took a gap year and am in a mid-tier house

Yes and no. Yes, it is harder because you are by definition giving one less year to the house, only less year of dues. No in that there is a specific quota for sophomores, this can be viewed as ‘reserved’ spaces. Basically, if you are cool it may be easier for you but if you aren’t it would definitely be harder.
