I was so surprised to open Greek rank and see the comments from “ex members”.My time in AXO has been nothing but wonderful, I joined in 2023 and have been met with nothing but kindness and support. Jointing alpha chi has genuinely brought the strongest community and I am so grateful for the support system I have gained while transitioning to college. Walking around campus in merch, I will always be waved at by girls I don’t even know and I can confidently say I joined a community where people genuinely want to get to know me. The one attribute that I would first characterize alpha chi is; genuine. We care about getting to know each member, we care to hear about their bad days, we care to sit and laugh even when they are fresh out of bed not looking their best. The woman in this sorority, so gorgeous, but genuinely prioritize getting to know individuals by who they are in the inside, and every single member (ex and all) know that and will testify to how funny and love these girls are . I am a newer member, i do know this tho. We have not had people leave in bad terms, various financial or other circumstances, but never in a hostile mindset. Going through Greek rank as a PNM, please make sure to remember- not everything you see is real. a lot of other sororities are trying to shift the “ranking” before recruitment and in doing so they are leaving hateful fake messages. during recruitment- do not take into consideration anonymous people online trying to manipulate their own sorority “status” with fake comments. when you are going through recruitment, only take your conversions into consideration, this is the friend group you are joining for the next 4 years and it should be based solely on what energy you are looking for. While choosing a sorority it is most important to make sure you are choosing the house that is filled with the people you know will make you feel good, these will be your best friends for the next 4 years.
