rushing a sorority as a transfer

I’m transferring this fall and was just wondering how common it is for upperclassman, specially sophomores, to rush. Also, would being a sophomore somehow lower my chances of getting a bid?

it is common for second years to rush but top houses are much harder on second years grades and what activities you were involved in.

I’ve seen a top tier chapter take a junior during formal recruitment so you have nothing to worry about

I will went through recruitment as a freshman and there were a ton of sophomores in my pledge class. Not weird at all
