potential transfer

by: Class of '18

I'm considering transferring to the U but was wondering do fraternities shun upperclassmen? I know some bigger schools won't let you rush if you aren't a freshman. Also is there fall rush?
Thanks!

No frats will turn you down because you're an upperclassmen. Yeah there is fall rush. Most of the kids in the fall are transfers anyway. You'll be good.

Depends how old you are, I had a friend that's pretty chill and rushed multiple frats but didn't get any bids because he was 20 and a junior

Sophomore or junior transfers though? I'll be 20 and the guy below is saying that can get you rejected

Sophomore you have a good shot but as a junior your chances are very slim.

How slim? And is that for every top organization? I'd love to get involved but I don't want to show up and have my hopes crushed you know?
