Pi phi recruitment

by: Curious

I’m not a part of Greek life but considering pi phi. Can someone who got a bid already drop and do pi phi? Or if someone’s in a sorority they don’t like and have been there for a while can they drop and join? Not saying that they would but I’m just curious to the rules.

Short answer no. Long answer if they’ve been initiated into a sorority they can’t join another, and if they took a bid during formal recruitment this year they can’t join another sorority until formal recruitment or after next year- and to do so they would have to drop before initiation.

What if they’ve been a part of a sorority for over a year and are thinking of dropping, would they have to wait a year also?

They wouldn’t be allowed. They can drop ofc, but once you’ve been initiated into a panhell sorority you can never be in another one. The only way they would be if they took a bid during formal or informal last year and dropped before initiation. Once they’re initated that’s it
