Oh definitely. It happens every year by invitational/ pref a lot of people will only have 1-2 sororities left. I know someone last year who ended up with just zeta all the way through. You could get invited back to 5 day two and 2 day three and one for pref- it’s more common then you think. It’s just about when sororities make drops, it’s not personal

i dropped my sorority due to financial reasons last yr but i’ve been on the recruiting side of rush and i rushed soooo many pretty, nice, and funny girls but 90% of them i could just not see in my chapter or i could see them fitting somewhere else wayyy better.
when actives decide to call you back they have to recall you and your conversation and think— who would be friends with this PNM? (most likely to rush her next if we can see her clicking with others) can you see anyone in the pc above hers being her big? does she have enough of an outgoing personality to not feel like she’s cast off to the side when the whole chapter is there? is what the PNM is looking for in a sorority experience something that we can provide?
there are only 6 sororities here so it can be hard to find a niche, dw. xo sees you in their sisterhood and that’s what matters. bc trust me you don’t want to be in a different chapter that might be “better” but is where you feel left out or like you don’t fit in
