Is Greek Life always this toxic?
by: .I'm not a part of greek life at all and never had interest in joining, but since my friends are rushing I looked at this website to understand what they're talking about. I didn't realize how absolutely toxic it would be. Seriously, I don't know if it's just cause these posts are anonymous that is bringing out the worst in people or if members of greek life are always this horrible. Some of these posts are just straight up rude for no reason. IDK if greek life is always this terrible, but now I'm worried for my friends who are joining.

The hard answer is no, it’s not. A lot of Greek people and groups are great. This site is anonymous and mostly trolls or insecure people trying to bring themselves up by putting other groups down, definitely a minority of actual Greeks even look at it. It’s not the best place to see what we’re about- if you’re interested, I’d recommend getting in touch with sororities about informal recruitment and hearing about it from sisters, not angry frat guys
