Depends if you have a car. Cheap housing in miami is tough to find to be honest, but the trade off is having to drive. The cheapest option is to get some people together and look for a house within a ten minute drive, you could prob get a room for around $750 a month, but living in a house can be a pain in the neck. For apartments red road is close and can be cheap, but the landlords are sketchy so they basically say your apartment will cost between $800 - $1600 a month (each roommate) and throw you into a lottery to see what it is. University inn and Orduna court are both in the 1,000-1100 range but they’re walking distance you you don’t need a car. Valencia is within metro distance and around the same price. My advice is to lock something down early, because the entire process of finding housing is truly terrible. It’s fun once you get here though, congrats on getting in!
