Rushing without friends

I am the only one in my friend group who wants to rush a fraternity. Is it an immediate turnoff if they see someone going to events alone? With this being said, I am a pretty social guy, and the only reason the other people in my group don't want to rush is that they really enjoying the club scene so they don't think dues are worth the money.

It might be harder to get into the top tiers without connections, but if you look the part and are good at talking to brothers that shouldn't be an issue.
