Frenk is nuts to reopen

by:

Why are we trusting Mexico’s head of public health more than the US’s Fauci and every other developed nations guidelines? Does anybody else think this is ridiculous? Most colleges went full online or have VERY few classes in person and so far all my classes are showing up as in person. I know it’s our choice but it’s ridiculous to allow people to come back and spread it in a community where hospitals are already full. And like honestly guys stop commenting BUT HE WAS HEAD OF PUBLIC HEALTH...yes in mexico, and no offense to mexico but if you think their public health and infrastructure was doing great, you have not lived in Mexico. If he was really a big shot, he would be the president at a top 50 school at least, and that’s not to crap on my own school, but I can acknowledge it’s sus. Other schools are roasting us

We are the new liberty university. Our ranking has been dropping and let’s be real it’s gonna keep dropping when we have to leave mid semester AGAIN

Maybe i will leave and the intelligent people will so our already dropping in rank school can keep dropping and our degrees will be worth nothing. I’m here because they gave me an almost full ride but based on kids like you I should probably be at a better school where people don’t deny science

When has Dr. Fauci been right? He hasn’t.... stop watching the news and see what he has to say not what the news has to say about him......

By: Fauci
by: au

he’s been right based on the data we had at every point in time you clown. sorry you don’t understand research and science develop, would you rather have a leader that pretends they’re still right even when presented with new info? oh wait...

Frenk has very little credentials on US health. UM acts like he is an expert and world renowned Dr. I heard some Dr at UM Miller say we need to close this fall. Guess they don’t trust their own Dr’s or need that $. To be tied with Pitt and FSU is very disappointing. As a rising senior this isnt the school or education I thought I was getting when it was 38 my freshman year. Sad but the U’s decline isnt just a football thing

what year are you and what made you excited to come here? I'm going to be a junior and have been trying to transfer for 2 years. Can't get in anywhere better though

I am a junior as well. A good amount of people from my high school matriculated to the U and they all told me what a blast it was. Boy was I wrong. They (the administration) made it socially dead the semester before I got here.

i know! like under shalala and that student gov administration we went from sun tan U to a decent school but now we are what? 57th? we pay private school tuition to go to a school that’s way on the decline and then everybody is making fun of us for reopening now. I’m aware a lot of my friends here came to get a barely education and work for their parents or have some deadend job but i’m mad how our reputation is being ruined

People on campus give Shalala a hard time, but she was great for UM. Campus life improved, rankings soared and we were actually being respected as an academic school with nice weather. Now, we go from 38 and being back to back prime time football games to 57, tied with terrible state schools like FSU, nearly triple the cost of tuition and the social life kind of stinks. I asked my friend who graduated in 2017 where the fun parties and amazing student life went, and he said Frenk and the current admin are running greek life and fun into the ground. This just isn't the same experience that my older friends (classes of 2015, 2016, 2017) all had. Sucks

According to the Chronicle of Higher Education, which is tracking more than 860 institutions’ plans, two-thirds of colleges are planning to welcome back students in person, while only 7% are planning to hold classes only online. Many other colleges have yet to make a decision.

yes but the ones that are doing blended learning only listed that because of ICE. I know 2 friends at ivies and another 5 at top 25 universities and they’re listed as combo but they’re not really doing it. we are
