Is it just me or are the girls here not that hot?

“Academically prestigious” Sir we fell out the top 50 and have a 40% acceptance rate...idk where you’re going to school but not the same UM as me

^Just google UM acceptance rate it’s like 35%. I love it here but tbh no we are not prestigious

Google UMiami Fall 2019 Class Profile, the acceptance rate was fell to 27% last year and the average ACT range was 31-34. The Ivy Leagues are around 32-35 average ACT, so that's pretty damn competitive if you ask me. Compare that to FSU's 40% and UF's 35%, we're the most academically competitive school in Florida.

Those so-called "U.S. News college ranks" are actually hot garbage, and around 2 years ago they updated the criteria so that 20% of a University's "score" is how many low-income, or "economically diverse" as they like to call it, students attend the school. Obviously UM is gonna get dinged on 20% of its score since everyone here comes from money. That's why even schools like FSU are "tied" with us, even though everyone knows UM is 10x better.

^FYI to that whole low income thing- then why are the top 25 schools all with higher tuition than ours... we just aren’t the best and it’s fine because that’s not why I came here I’m not saying we aren’t GOOD but we aren’t even in the top 50 in the us, so it doesn’t matter that we are better than florida schools because when I’m applying for jobs i’m competing with kids from all of those schools

Does he have to be hot to make a valid point? Most guys here aren’t hot either, it’s just disappointing because besides a few really hot girls or really hot guys this school is not what I thought Miami would be

I mean yeah, I don’t think boo hooing the fact that girls here don’t look photoshopped and look, god forbid, average is really a valid point. Most people look average at every school ever and if you saw something on the internet that makes it look different, no duh it’s the internet
