what's up with the allegations against sigma chi?
by: Concerned RushI was at an SAE event and someone told me that Sig Chi is under investigation by the school for allegations made by two freshman girls. Is this for real? I asked around a bit and I've heard from people that it's not- while some other people are telling me it's 100% real and that they might be suspended from campus. Really need to know because I really liked them, but did get some aggressive vibes.

Sadly this is true. No charges have been filed or anything because they're still investigating, but it is still ongoing. There were a number of reports of sketchy things happening at their house, including dealing, assault, and more accusations from girls so the school is waiting until it gathers a mountain of evidence to officially come down on them.

If this were true they wouldn't be allowed to rush kids now. This is clearly a pathetic move by SAE to try to stay top tier. SAE is now competing with beta and pi kapp for kids. I'd rather be an underground Sigma Chi than a SAE squid any day

Yeah it definitely sounds fishy, I think Sae & pikapp are probably on the same level socially after last fall. But if the allegations are true bout Machi the schools probably waiting on it, so not sure what to think yet. This stuff happens all the time though, such a girl move for another frat to do this
