fraternity legislation

Just heard on news that the NC Senate passed some bill to protect fraternities because UNCW administration abused some fraternity's rights. Anyone know anything about it?

Yea , been reading about it. Apparently the admin at da Dub has overreached and in trouble with law makers. Kind if funny to watch.

Have seen couple articles in Daily Tarheel about it. Dub administrators messed up something. Not sure where it's going but apparently it's serious.

It's well known that the Greek office and the Student Deans treat certain sororities and fraternities better than others. They've always played favorites and it might have finally caught up to them.

I looked it up and it really is the SAE Act and named for the SAE chapter here that was suspended for a minor violation by the Greek office. But I think it goes back several years of harassment and so they had a law passed so they can now go to court. This will be fun to watch as everyone is aware how unfriendly the Deans are to sororities and fraternities here. Kudos to SAE for fighting for all of us!!!!
