Sigma Sigma Sigma - ΣΣΣ Sorority at University of North Carolina at Wilmington - UNCW 1.7 When I went through recruitment, the girls I talked to were very quiet and not very out going. I literally told them I was out going and the girl was like haha yeah there’s a couple of us, but most of us are quiet. I asked about sisterhood and she couldn’t give me any details about it. Just seems like it’s a sorority you can join and not do much or make strong connections from what I could tell. But if your shy, they might be perfect for you!

When I went through recruitment, the girls I talked to were very quiet and not very out going. Sigma Sigma Sigma - ΣΣΣ Sorority at University of North Carolina at Wilmington - UNCW 1.7 literally will take anyone :/ they’re desperate for members. I’ve never seen a more disorganized and disconnected group of people. if you want to be in a good sorority, don’t be a sigma.

Sigma Sigma Sigma - ΣΣΣ Sorority at University of North Carolina at Wilmington - UNCW 4.0 Not sure why everyone hates them so much. I wish they didn’t have such a bad rep because more girls would like them during recruitment otherwise. They received a huge grant for their philanthropy involvement which is something to be proud of. These girls all seem super nice and put together. Stop bashing tri dog and give them a chance. If rankings weren’t superficial and based off how “cool and hot” these girls are, they would be top tier.

However, my experience in their rounds was pretty great. One girl that I talked to told me that these girls won UNCW philanthropy of the year for 2019! Why is no one talking about this? I’m assuming because this sorority is known for being on the bottom so no one cares. Philanthropy of the year sounds like an amazing achievement if you care more about just boys and partying and your status. Overall, my conversations were pretty great with the sigmas. Sigma is not for everyone but they definitely are not as bad as people make them out to be.

Sigma Sigma Sigma - ΣΣΣ Sorority at University of North Carolina at Wilmington - UNCW 4.2 These girls still get a lot of hate because of the reputation they had almost 4 years ago. From what I’ve seen, these girls have really stepped it up in the past year and since all the old members graduated, they’ve had some really pretty girls. They’ve even been more selective about the girls they let in. I went through formal recruitment last year and a girl in my gamma chi group was really upset when she didn’t get invited back to Tri Sig. We both joined different chapters and are happy where we ended up but I would not have been upset if I received a bid from this chapter.. Not saying they’re at the top but definitely rising. Sweet, genuine, pretty, smart girls who seem to have their stuff together! Not your worst option
