Idk why people hate on them. I am in a diff sorority and got dropped by them (because I was older when I rushed) but everyone I've met in adpi is super nice and smart

All sororities look for the same things in pnms. It's not like what you see in movies where if you're pretty you're going to get a bid. Sororities look for girls with high GPAs, who have a history of being involved with school/community service/extracurriculars and a good reputation. If a girl has a reputation for being a bully, or for being a heavy partier, the sororities will find out about it. Most importantly, sororities look for pnms that the sisters click with. They want girls who are a good fit for their chapter.
