greek life at sd

I'm transferring from Syracuse to SD this Fall and was wondering how the social scene works for Frats at SD ( since there are no houses) do they have like apartments they own? Or how does it work? All off campus events?

Welcome to UCSD! We have a unofficial "row" call Regents where a lot of the fraternities and sororities live, lots of parties are thrown there. Fraternities also have houses scattered all over la jolla and clairemont, and they also have parties there as well!

Hey! Thanks for the quick response, so there are house parties just not in a systematic neighborhood and so on it seems. How do those social events work? Are they all just house parties or are there big registers as well?
