I'm a gdi, and I've met a ton of girls from top house sororities. However, Kappas were the only girls who didn't exclude me or make me feel unwelcome because i'm not a part of the greek system. That just speaks volumes about the girls they chose; seriously all really sweet,welcoming, and down to earth girls. Definitely something potential rushees should keep in mind during recruitment

I have damn good reason to be proud of my chapter. what makes a house top house? philanthropy? athletics? parties? intelligence? well my chapter won in all of those this year. We won sports banner for a third straight time, had the best GPA for a second straight time, raised the most money BY FAR, and Eurobash was easily the biggest party of the year. I don't care if i sound arrogant, i am damn proud to be a sig. We worked hard, we earned top house status. Maybe it'll change this year. #tophouse

These guys are literally my favorite ones to hang out with. I got to know a lot of them this past year and they are the most down to earth, gentlemanly, sweet guys I've met not just in Greek life, but in general. They're not afraid to be themselves either. Their house is awesome, of course, but what is the best to me is that every single one respected me and really wanted to get to know me at exchanges, which you can't say for many other fraternities. I wear my Sammy Republic tank with pride!!
