How do Gameday dates work here

Fraternity brothers (and pledges) usually ask a girl to be their date. At most places that includes food/alcohol at the tailgate, and a ticket to the game (if you dont already have one). But, of course, the ladies can ask the men to be their gameday date if their sorority has a function going on that weekend.
