bids/difficult
by: Scared pnm :/How difficult is it to get a bid at Auburn? Like if you are normal, considered attractive, and somewhat outgoing, is it likely to get a bid? And Is it difficult or easy to get completely released from rush?

I'm assuming with the "pnm" you are a girl? In which case, everyone who rushes gets a bid somewhere. Whether that is where you are happy is an entirely different question. But if you rush, you will get a bid from somewhere, even if you are about the worst recruit imaginable, unless you break some recruitment rules or something.
If you are a guy, the circumstances are a little different because the school doesn't regulate bids from fraternities. "Theoretically" you could rush everywhere and not get a bid. Realistically, most bottom tier fraternities will bid anyone and everyone to get their numbers up, so pretty much everyone gets a bid. Again, my not be where you want it to be, but you will get a bid.

With 1700 girls rushing not all make it through the week. The majority drop out on their own accord because they either don't like the remaining houses they have or don't want to be in a sorority altogether. Very few girls get dropped by all 17 houses and it is usually because of really low grades or a very well-known bad reputation.
