tiers
by: TiersWhat's the big deal about tiers? Do GDIs around campus know who is "top tier"? Only like 30% of students on campus are greek right? So who exactly are the tiers for? I heard that lots of great guys at auburn are GDIs...

Independents as a whole could care less about any tiers. (The only ones who worry about tiers as a whole are the ones who are afraid someone might not think they are in a high tier!) As for dating, many sorority girls date independents! Look in the wedding sections of any newspaper and you will see that there are lots of people who marry others who are either not in a sorority or fraternity. Really, you need to gain some maturity if you honestly think everyone in the Greek system goes around for the rest of their life living as if they are in a sorority or fraternity. As for running the campus, Greeks are dominant for sure, but there are plenty of independents in all the organizations! Many are head of them. That's what makes AU so great, it is not one dimensional.

The auburn greek system is changing- about 60% of girls are greek and 40% of guys. There are more student leaders who are Greek than non-Greek, and Greek life on average makes better grades and have more of an opportunity to network and connect. GDI'a do have some idea of how the Greek system works, but also remember that there is a difference between GDI's and non-Greeks. GDI's could probably care less about your letters, while non-Greeks respect the organization you pledged to a part of. Ultimately, just go for a fraternity where you feel the most comfortable, because you'll still get the connections and experience from just about any of them.

Actually im not in a fraternity. Lots of people just come on this site because its hilarious to watch you all attack each other

When has Zeta ever been "chill" and "down to earth" they're the most image-concious sorority after PM. Fun to party with, but not really into the whole geed scene

You need to give it a rest. All the poster wrote was which groups they thought were chill, but then you had to go and pick one group out to be negative about. I guess you are the negative poster, or one of them, get with the program and answer the question and not be a troll.
