out of state fraternity rush
by: RusheeIf I am from Out of State is it a big deal to make it down in the summer for some events? If so, its no big deal I can make it happen. just wondering

good to make it to events. Once school starts, but before formal rush starts, fraternities have parties/events that people can come too but its "better" to go to Summer events. It's nice to have a bid or two lined up before formal rush but just because you don't go to summer events doesn't mean you won't get a bid.
But, the "top tier" fraternities "fill up" fast, I think SNu had basically its whole class by late June, don't quote me on that though.

Sigma Nu recruited all the way through formal rush in August. The finished with a pledge class over 60 and gave out bids through the entire summer. No single fraternity was finished until rush was over and I do know that for a fact.
