fraternity predictions
by: JackazzSince we're all hyped on fraternities right now, let make some predictions. Based on how we hear fraternities are doing in rush, who do y'all think will be better/worse come Christmas break? Predicted rankings?

Sigma Nu apparently has a huge class, previous years pledge quality has decreased so I hope it's better. Regardless they're still top tier. SAE will be interesting since pledgeship was banned. I hope not, but could be the beginning is a decline. I assume KA is going for quantity over quality. Theta chi not sure, this class could bring then (in my opinion) to top tier or hold them at upper middle. Beta will be beta, I know now they have at least 30. As for the others I have formed don't more opinions but sadly most just want to know about the "top" fraternities. If anyone else cares ann out my opinions I can go on about some more.

I'll give my opinion on how I think each house will do during the fall that I know about
Don't know enough about them to have an opinion: Delta Sig, AGR, Pike, Phi Tau, DTD
Trending up
- Theta Chi - you know they'll throw big name parties, continue Thirsty Thursdays, and end up with another big pledge class
- Beta - I list them because they're supposed to have Waka Flocka with ATO in the fall and that will be the first time they've had a big party in years since they went broke
- KA - new party shed and Thomas Rhett will probably be good for them to improve from last year
- Sigma Pi - their new party barn should be positive for them, and if they continue to grow their reputation on campus in a positive way I could see them separating themselves as an upper tier fraternity by next spring

Trending down:
SAE - rush starting slow isn't a good sign, their quality will probably decrease as they feel the pressure of getting as many pledges as the other top houses will. They will most certainly take kids they usually wouldn't the close rush gets to ending
Sig Ep - their reputation has been on the decline for the past 2 years. Blowing money on rappers last year doesn't seem to be helping them with rush so far. We'll see with them
Lambda Chi - like Theta Chi they will probably spend a lot of money on big name artist to bring people to their house but I think the quality of brothers will continue to fall here. I don't like the strategy of taking anyone to get back to where they were before probation
Phi Delt - being on social probation will make it harder for that place to grow when they need it

Stagnant - Not getting better or worse, staying about the same
- Sigma Nu - only place for them to go is down. They'll probably get a low quality pledge class according to some but you know when they throw parties all of the KDs, Phi mus, ect will still be flocking there like every other year. Too big of a reputation to fall
- Farmhouse - you pretty much know what you're getting with them. They don't really have much room to expand or anything so they're probably going to continue getting the same type of guys
- Fiji - basically same as Sigma Nu and FH, they'll probably get same kind of guys, some ridiculously high number of pledges and brothers, and same small popular date functions at their house
- ATO - much like rest they'll probably get quality guys but their last of a good house and social life will hurt them from being much more than a middle tier group. They have a joint party with Beta having Waka Flocka, but Beta isn't going to give them any credit. They didn't even have Cherub at their house and still tried to take all of the credit. I honestly don't know why they'd just give beta a bunch of money to throw a huge party
- Pi Kapp - rush didn't go well for them last year and they tried a similar strategy to Sig Ep and threw money at big rappers to boost their rep. I haven't heard it's helped their rush so far. I just don't see that being positive for them

Fiji, ATO, FH, Sigma Pi, Lambda Chi? Even Pi Kapp, Sig Ep, Phi Delt,Pike, Phi Tau, DTD? Predicted ranks and tiers?
