Rushing from Far Oor
by: pnmHow hard is it to get a bid to a sorority if I’m from super far away/don’t have any connections at Auburn? Will any sororities for sure not take me?

A lot are cliquey and only take girls from certain cities and high schools.if you are oos and have a lot of money or IG followers you are more likely to get a bid from some of those sororities that Think they are top.Sad and shallow but that’s how it is. I’m looking at you KD and PM

I was from out of state & rushed & I really wish I knew that most of the sororities here only care if you are from vestavia or mountain Brooke (not sure why it’s like this, I had never heard of those places before I came to auburn. Lol) I probably would not have rushed if I knew that they were only looking for girls that were from those areas! Really disappointing honestly. I’m still in a sorority that I like, but rush week was very eye opening..

not gonna say the specific state but pnw area, i’ve never seen anyone from my area go to auburn...
