my girlfriend got a call from 2 the day after bid day (ddd and dz) so it has been going on for sometime. I don't know why its not talked about. There is no shame in it from either side. some sororities have spots to fill and some girls are looking. my sorority cob'd a really sweet girl that didn't even go thru rush(not a requirement), just signed up for cob (dg) ---- you need someone on the inside to pull for you!!! so if you want in, start with finding a contact.

someone on my hall has gotten COB invites from several chapters, and accepted a bid from one of them. so yes, some chapters are doing COB
