Is Tri Sigma Really That Bad?

by:

I know tons of girls have Tri Sig left on their schedule. Are they really that bad of a sorority? I think I saw one post where someone said it would be better to not go Greek than to be a Tri Sig,

They are really new and aren’t a full chapter yet. They have a couple swaps I think but not a whole lot of social events

Are they a small group? Any idea how many members? Thanks!

What's a "normal" amount of members for a sorority to have?

There probably won't be any this year so that would be irrelevant.

if they make quota this year they will continue to grow it just takes a while when you were only established like three or four years ago but they aren't bad they just can't be really picky yet

They have many wonderful girls. They are just new on campus. Give them a chance and see if you click. They like you!

Listen, and this goes not only for Tri Sig but Kappa and Theta as well. Those are all wonderful orgs with great sisterhoods. Trust the process and the system, those girls saw something special in you. You are going to see everyone on bid day run to their houses and you are going to miss out on it? You are always going to wonder what could be?

Tri Sigma is at a lot of northern schools. They just created the Auburn one maybe 4 years ago. I graduated a year ago (different sorority) and I have watched them grow every year. Girls are just scared to not go where they have never heard of them or doesn’t know much about them. They are continuing to grow. Give them a chance if they are giving you one!

1. No swaps this year so wgaf
2. They are only smaller because they’re new
3. They have some great girls and great leadership
4. Not being as huge a chapter is a good thing- you get to actually know more sisters
5. They aren’t as cliquey as other houses

Don’t listen to idiots- if you’re looking for sisterhood, you’ll find it. If you’re just looking to get wasted with letters on your shirt, plz go away

By: New isn’t bad

I’m definitely not looking for wild parties or a place to get wasted.

You also have to remember that Theta is pretty new too and they still struggle during recruitment. It’s very hard to jump in and compete with old names, but no one could ever compare to being a member of a new organization and building it up yourself! That’s pretty special!

No they are not bad. They are newer to campus so it’s harder for them to get full pledge classes but they are fine! Don’t let Greek Rank or mean girls tell you different.

They are still new and you could be part of helping them build their reputation. I have heard that there are alot of great girls in there.
